Address the cause, not the symptom
Why mould appears on living room walls
Mould in the living room often begins as a small area on a wall, yet it points to a condition that should not be ignored: moisture is remaining where it should not. Mould develops on wet materials indoors, and living room walls can become a persistent growth surface when moisture and condensation are allowed to remain in the wall. The visible patch is therefore not the whole issue. It is the signal that the wall needs to dry properly.
Dark or less frequently checked areas may make early mould growth easier to miss. It can also be hidden behind furniture, coverings, or within areas that are not immediately visible. This is why simply judging the situation by the size of the visible mark can be misleading. A wall may continue to retain moisture even when the surface looks temporarily improved.
A surface mark is not the source
Painting over mould, using chemical sprays, or relying on household remedies may change what is visible, but they do not permanently dry the wall behind it.
A lasting response focuses on the moisture condition of the living room wall. Mould DRY uses chemical-free infrared wall drying to address condensation and wall moisture at their source, rather than concealing the symptom.
Mould in the living room stops for the long term when the wall is kept permanently dry.
