Häufige Fragen & Antworten

Welche Bausubstanzen und Oberflächen können mit Schimmel-DRY getrocknet werden?
  • Grundsätzlich trocknet Schimmel Dry einerseits jede diffusionsoffene Bausubstanz mit Strahlungswärme oberflächlich und über die Kapillarwirkung in die Tiefe.
    Andererseits trocknet es jede feuchte Oberfläche, die von der Strahlungswärme und der aufsteigenden Warmluft berührt wird. Die aufsteigende Warmluft verhindert, bzw. minimiert auch die Möglichkeit, dass sich neue Schimmelsporen an der Oberfläche anlegen und vermindert auch das entstehen von Kondenswasser an Wandoberflächen und Fenstern.
Kann Schimmel-DRY mit anderen Geräten (Licht, Raumheizer, Lüfter usw.) mitgesteuert werden?
  • Eventuell kann das für spezielle Anwendungszwecke sinnvoll sein, für eine langfristige Abtrocknung einer feuchten Oberfläche ist es jedoch wichtig, dass während des Trocknungsprozesses die Wand nicht wieder abkühlen darf, da sonst neue Feuchtigkeit kondensieren kann, oder die Wand durch nachziehende Feuchte abkühlt und der Prozess von vorne beginnen muss.
Kann Schimmel-DRY auch im Außenbereich, Garagen, bzw. ungeheizten Zonen betrieben werden?
  • Schimmel Dry kann auch bei Temperaturen bis ca 0°C betrieben werden, solange es der Witterung nicht ausgesetzt ist. Bei Minusgraden wurde es nicht getestet, aber solange es keinen ständigen Ein- und Ausschaltzyklen unterworfen wird, sollten auch kalte Umgebungen kein Problem für die technische Funktion sein.
  • Der Wärmeeintrag in die Wand wird durch zu höhere Temperaturunterschiede zwischen Umgebungstemperatur und Betriebstemperatur zwar gemindert, da die Trocknung aber hauptsächlich über die Kapillarwirkung erfolgt, wird die Wand auch getrocknet, solange die Wandfeuchte nicht gefriert.
