Mould in the children’s room

The monster under the bed

Mould in the home – and especially in children’s bedrooms – is not just a visual problem, but also a serious health hazard for our children. As children’s immune systems are not yet fully developed, an infestation is particularly risky for them. Mould spores can spread all over the the room – on walls (especially exterior walls), on wallpaper, on furniture and in mattresses – and cause health problems.

The dangers of mould in children’s rooms

The air quality in children’s rooms is crucial for their health and development. It is therefore particularly important to tackle mould growth in children’s room immediately and to eliminate the source of the mould. This is the only way to protect the health of our little ones.

To prevent mould growth, constant heating and regular and correct ventilation must be ensured. However, these measures are often insufficient at eliminating the core problem and permanently preventing the formation of mould in children’s rooms.

Health risks

Mould in children’s rooms can lead to allergies, asthma, coughing and other respiratory illnesses in children or exacerbate existing allergic reactions.

02

Immune system development

Children do not yet have a fully developed immune system, which makes them more vulnerable to the negative effects of mould.

High exposure

The children’s room is the main living space for our little ones. If they are exposed to high levels of mould spores in this room, the risk of health problems is increased.

Causes of mould in children’s rooms:

Why are children’s rooms particularly at risk?

High humidity and inadequate ventilation provide ideal conditions for mould growth. Moisture is a breeding ground for mould and promotes mould growth, which is why rooms plagued by damp are particularly susceptible. In children’s rooms, which are often well heated and less frequently ventilated, moisture can condense in cool corners and cold bridges such as walls and windows, allowing mould to develop.

Natural & permanent removal:

How does Mould-DRY work?

Mould-DRY revolutionises mould removal. The innovative infrared technology dries the masonry deeply, permanently removing the moisture that causes mould. This is done completely without the use of chemicals, which makes this method particularly very environmentally friendly and safe for your health.

Mould-DRY is also easy to install, making it the ideal solution for your home. Simply effective against mould!

Mould-DRY Function

The solution

Mould-DRY

Mould-DRY is the sustainable solution for combating mould in children’s rooms. In contrast to conventional mould removers, which only fight the problem on its surface, Mould-DRY removes the root of mould infestations in children’s rooms at the root. The module just needs to be installed once in the affected area and then the drying process begins, which gently dries the entire wall without the use of chemicals.

Without moisture, the mould no longer has a breeding ground, thus preventing it from forming again in the long term. Protect your children and create an environment in which your little ones can play and sleep in peace.

Can my child burn themselves on the Mould-DRY heating element?

The temperature of the Mould-DRY modules is similar to that of a hot cup of tea. This is approximately 70°C on the front and back of the modules.
It is therefore perfectly safe to touch them briefly, as they will not burn you.

Can Mould-DRY cause a fire?

As the modules have a surface temperature of approximately 70°C, there is no risk of fire.

The ignition temperature of various materials is:

  • Writing paper: approx. 350°C
  • Newspaper: approx. 170°C
  • Spruce wood dust: approx. 260°C

Nevertheless, we recommend to keep a distance of at least 2 cm between objects and the module.

Does the infrared heat from Mold-Dry have a negative effect on humans or animals?

No, on the contrary.
Infrared heat, which is also emitted by tiled stoves, is one of the cosiest and healthiest forms of
warmth that we all appreciate and love.
This includes our four-legged friends, who particularly enjoy the warm sleeping area in front of the
Mould-DRY elements.

Can Mould-DRY be installed in the children's room near the bed?

It can be placed close to the bed (behind, next to or under the bed) for both toddlers and babies without hesitation. However, accidental contact during sleep should be avoided.
Another advantage of placing it near the bed is that the warmth ensures a comfortable and restful sleep.
