Mould in the home often forms due to high humidity and inadequate ventilation, which creates ideal conditions for mould growth if the humidity in rooms remains permanently high .
Inadequate ventilation prevents moist air from escaping, which leads to mould growth. Rooms such as bathrooms, kitchens and cellars are particularly affected . In addition, leaks in roofs, windows or pipes can allow moisture to penetrate walls and ceilings and thus promote mould growth.

Our Mold-DRY system is characterised by its user-friendly plug & play installation. Simply set up or mount, plug in and the mould-fighting process begins – simply and efficiently. The somewhat different anti-mould method.

Prepare
Mold-DRY is ready for immediate use without any major preparation. You can wipe the mould stain with a natural agent as preparation.

Mount
Simply place it in front of the wall with the feet or mount it directly on the wall with the two plugs and screws from the mounting material.

Plug in
Plug in the Mold-DRY and let it run continuously at the beginning. The drying time varies depending on the moisture content of the wall and can take anywhere from a few weeks to several months during initial commissioning.

Once the wall is dry, you are free from all negative mould influences. Mold-DRY can continue to keep your wall dry with shortened switch-on times via a timer
How does Mold-DRY work?
Mold-DRY heats on the back and front.
The heat from the back penetrates into the masonry and dries out the wall via the capillary effect.
A wall dries via capillary action like a blotting paper. No matter where you start to dry the blotting paper, the moisture is drawn to this point and dries there.
The heat produced at the front forms a thermal blanket in front of the wall and supports capillary drying.
Does mould disappear with Mold-DRY?
Mold-DRY prevents mould from falling off the wall.
The mould is deprived of its basis of life (moisture) as the wall is completely dried and it dies. The superficial mould stain now becomes lighter and can be cleaned or, if necessary, painted over.
Comparable to a pair of trousers when you kneel in wet soil: as soon as the stain has dried, it becomes lighter in colour and the residue can be cleaned off the trousers.
Why does Mold-DRY save more energy than it consumes?
- Energy remains energy!
The heat produced by Mold-DRY is not lost in the room and your main heating system also has to heat less for precisely this heat.
- However, there is another important point here – the SAVING of energy!
Damp walls are not only a breeding ground for mould, they are also bad for the indoor climate and increase heating costs.
An increased moisture content in the masonry changes the natural insulating properties and the increasingly expensive heat energy escapes uselessly through the damp walls. The moisture ensures that the masonry works like a heat conductor, as water conducts energy up to 28 times faster than air.
As a rule of thumb, it can be said that a moisture penetration of only 4% reduces the insulation capacity by half. At 10%, the thermal insulation value is only a quarter, which leads to a massive increase in heating costs.
With every one percent increase in wall dryness with Mold-DRY, you not only prevent mould, you also save heating costs and therefore money.
